This year we planted lettuce, spinach, broccoli, peas, watermelon, peppers, tomatoes, sunflowers, butternut squash, yellow squash, zucchini, & cucumbers. Here's hoping they grow...
After being so busy yesterday & today, we enjoyed a little break after getting the kids down. While relaxing in the cool evening breeze, Rick mentioned how nice it would be to sit back like this & not think about all the things that needed to be done. In that moment of clarity, he suddenly realized that he still has to work as many years as he's been alive before he can retire. What do you do when you're mentally ready to retire, but financially you're not quite there yet?

ReplyDeleteYour camp out looks like a blast - love the pictures, especially the scary story one. ;) We also just got done putting a garden in (blog post to come). The list of projects and things to do never end - I'm assuming never in retirement either. Here's to dreaming though...
